North Parking Lot Architecture Project
In October 2020, the Teen Arts Council participated in an online workshop with architect Sebastienne Brown, to repurpose the North Kemper Parking Lot into space that serves the community. They drafted designs, built 3D models, and worked to combine their ideas into one cohesive plan for the lot. In November of 2020, the council members presented their final ideas to a group of notable panelists in the field of art and architecture. The project was inspired by Zoma Museum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, founded by Elias Sime.
