The Kemper Teen Arts Council is a group of Kansas City-area teens interested in contemporary art, social issues, and creating free programs for teens and the community.

We create teen-focused events, attend workshops with local artists, participate in projects related to museum exhibitions, take part in leadership building opportunities, and plan collaborative community projects.

At an age where making connections is difficult, the Kemper was a wonderful place of art and energy, where we could meet and find common ground through our shared passion.

Having grown up not having access to museum education, the Teens Art Council fueled me with meaningful experiences, knowledge, and connections that I carry with me to this very day. I am forever grateful to the Kemper Museum and all that they have gifted me.
